The Monks of the Syriac Orthodox Church

We have two types of monks in our church
1. Sharvoyo (need not be ordained to any ranks of clergy , but has taken the monastic vowes)
2. Aboon Dayroyo ( Priest monk , a Dayroyo who has been ordained to the 7th rank "priest")

Cor Episcopo
Cor Episcopo is the highest rank a married clergy in the Syriac Orthodox Church is ordained to.
They were known as the Bishops of the village . Traditionally they had the authority to ordain deacons.
